These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Kanakkupaaru (“Service”), accessible at kanakkupaaru.in. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Kanakkupaaru, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

2. Description of Service

Kanakkupaaru is a personal finance tracking tool that allows users to:

Track assets including stocks, mutual funds, gold, fixed deposits, and other investments
Monitor liabilities and net worth over time
Set and track financial goals with an inflation calculator
Import portfolio data from supported broker platforms (Groww, Angel One, INDmoney)
Visualise cash flow, asset allocation, and spending patterns

Kanakkupaaru is a tracking and visualisation tool only. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or portfolio management services. All financial decisions remain solely the responsibility of the user.

3. User Accounts

3.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 You must notify us immediately at support@kanakkupaaru.in of any unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Kanakkupaaru offers a one-time lifetime payment of ₹499 (Indian Rupees) for full access to the Service.

4.2 A 7-day free trial is available upon registration. No payment is required during the trial period.

4.3 Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.

4.4 All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4.5 Lifetime access entitles you to use the Service for as long as it is operational, at no additional recurring cost.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
Upload malicious files or content
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not share your financial data with third parties. We do not store your PAN, bank account details, broker passwords, or demat account credentials.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data displayed is accurate or up to date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Kanakkupaaru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including design, text, graphics, and software — are owned by Kanakkupaaru and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
